Andrew McKenna

Executive Director
Andrew McKenna brings two decades of experience and leadership in the substance use disorder treatment space to Greylock Recovery. As a servant-leader, he is responsible for developing the vision, and overseeing the mission, established in collaboration with our leadership team. Andrew has delivered more than 60 Keynote addresses nationally; travels the country lecturing on various topics including addiction and mental health, criminal justice, and prison reform. Andrew, having toured more than 100 treatment centers, has helped thousands of people access help for their substance use disorders.

Dawn Clark

Director of Operations
Dawn Clark has worked in the healthcare field for more than two decades, particularly in operational leadership positions for new business entities. Dawn specializes in building and growing multidisciplinary teams, creating efficient systems, and providing oversight for multiple departments within organizations. While a pre-law student with Russel Sage College, Dawn received academic leadership awards and honors, preparing her to master myriad aspects of organizational structure and management. Over the past decade, Dawn’s passion for establishing treatment options for individuals suffering from substance use disorder grew as the need for quality treatment programs became increasingly evident. As Director of Operations for Greylock Recovery, Dawn is committed to providing a safe, compassionate space for people to heal, grow, and thrive.

Dr. David Hendricks

Medical Director
Dr. David Hendricks is an award-winning physician specializing in emergency medicine since 2003 and addiction medicine since 2017. Dr. Hendricks is quite well known in the Southwest and South-Central EMS Regions of Connecticut, having begun his medical career on the ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, and Paramedic Instructor. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Yale/New Haven. Dr. Hendricks is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is also board-eligible for certification in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

Rick Berger

Clinical Director
Rick Berger is the Director of Clinical Services at Greylock Recovery and has been in full recovery since 1987. Rick taught in the US, Japan, and South Korea and traveled extensively in Europe and Southeast Asia. He switched careers in 2008 and trained at the Hazelden Clinic. Rick has lived in Berkshire County since 2010 and worked in public and private treatment centers and private practice. He teaches classes at Williams College and taught at UMass focusing on substance use disorders. Along the way, Rick has learned to love French Bulldogs and to tie his own bowties.

Shatyra Grant

Night Operations Manager
Shatyra Grant is the Night Operations Manager and a Medical Health Technician at Greylock Recovery. With four years of experience in the addiction treatment field, Shatyra has gained valuable insights through both her professional work and her personal journey. Having faced her own battles, she understands the power of sharing her story to inspire others. Shatyra is passionate about helping individuals find hope and strength to overcome their darkest times and move toward lasting recovery.

Melissa Schnare

Director of Case Managment
Melissa Schnare is the Director of Case Management at Greylock Recovery, where she leads a dedicated team committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. With over eight years of experience in the field, Melissa’s career began in Vermont, where she started by collecting urine samples for individuals on Medication- Assisted Treatment (MAT). This initial exposure ignited her passion for helping others, and over the years, she developed a deep commitment to supporting those navigating addiction recovery. Melissa is proud to recently become a Nana and embraces the joys of family life with pride. She continues to find fulfillment in both her career and personal life, constantly inspired by the progress and resilience of the individuals she serves.
