Andrew McKenna brings two decades of experience and leadership in the substance use disorder treatment space to Greylock Recovery. As a servant-leader, he is responsible for developing the vision, and overseeing the mission, established in collaboration with our leadership team. Andrew has delivered more than 60 Keynote addresses nationally; travels the country lecturing on various topics including addiction and mental health, criminal justice, and prison reform. Andrew, having toured more than 100 treatment centers, has helped thousands of people access help for their substance use disorders.
Dawn Clark has worked in the healthcare field for more than two decades, particularly in operational leadership positions for new business entities. Dawn specializes in building and growing multidisciplinary teams, creating efficient systems, and providing oversight for multiple departments within organizations.
While a pre-law student with Russel Sage College, Dawn received academic leadership awards and honors, preparing her to master myriad aspects of organizational structure and management. Over the past decade, Dawn’s passion for establishing treatment options for individuals suffering from substance use disorder grew as the need for quality treatment programs became increasingly evident. As Director of Operations for Greylock Recovery, Dawn is committed to providing a safe, compassionate space for people to heal, grow, and thrive.
Stephen Martin is the Medical Director for Greylock Recovery and, as a Williams College alumnus, is grateful to return to the area. After Williams, Steve attended Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Boston University, Boston Medical Center, and South Boston Community Health Center. He served as a National Health Service Corps Scholar before joining a UMass rural health center in 2009 and has since become board certified in Addiction Medicine and a Professor at UMass Chan Medical School. He somehow still has all 1,400 comic books he collected as a kid.
Rick Berger is the Director of Clinical Services at Greylock Recovery and has been in full recovery since 1987. Rick taught in the US, Japan, and South Korea and traveled extensively in Europe and Southeast Asia. He switched careers in 2008 and trained at the Hazelden Clinic. Rick has lived in Berkshire County since 2010 and worked in public and private treatment centers and private practice. He teaches classes at Williams College and taught at UMass focusing on substance use disorders. Along the way, Rick has learned to love French Bulldogs and to tie his own bowties.
Thomas Sanford’s resume is both varied and interesting. He brings 14 years of experience in addiction recovery to Greylock Recovery, holding a master’s in organizational management and leadership from Springfield College and a master’s in counseling psychology from Cambridge College. Tom has worked for Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, the Brien Center, and SaVida Health.
Before entering the field of addiction, he was an actor/dancer with a national touring company, a Page for the Minnesota State Legislature, and a Correctional Officer at Stillwater Penitentiary. Additionally, he has worked in a steel mill and as a skate guard and disc jockey at a roller rink. Tom believes that “You get one chance to go around in life,” and considers being a therapist among his most fulfilling roles.
Chris Bonnivier is the Executive Chef & Director of Hospitality at Greylock Recovery. He brings an extensive background of 40 years in hospitality, having worked with some of the highest-acclaimed celebrity chefs in the country and appearing on Food Network a few times. Chris has gained valuable experience around the world, having worked in 2–and 3–Michelin-starred properties as well as some of the most prestigious hotels and resorts. After traveling the world, Chris’s true passion is now his family and community, which is why he has come to Greylock and returned to the Berkshires.
Katherine Lovett is a skilled mental health professional with expertise in trauma-informed care, case management, and behavioral health services. She holds an MBA and MSW, with experience in clinical therapy, social services, and healthcare administration. Katherine works with diverse populations, offering individual, couples, and family counseling, along with group facilitation for youth. She specializes in social-emotional learning, helping children and adolescents build resilience and emotional intelligence.
With a strong background in case management, Katherine coordinates care for individuals with complex mental health and substance use needs, collaborating with families, schools, and community organizations to provide essential resources. Additionally, she is proficient in healthcare operations, medical billing, and insurance coordination, ensuring patients access care without financial barriers.
David Castillo is the Director of Admissions and Community Outreach at Greylock Recovery. With a strong background in admissions, community engagement, and advocacy, David plays a pivotal role in connecting individuals and families with evidence-based, compassionate treatment for substance use disorders. David brings a wealth of experience in building collaborative partnerships across healthcare systems, legal organizations, and community agencies, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, tailored care. Known for his strategic thinking and dedication, he leads initiatives that foster harm reduction, family involvement, and long-term recovery success.
In addition to his professional expertise, David is a certified PSIA Ski Instructor and an active supporter of community endeavors, to benefit local programs. His diverse skills and commitment to service underscore his mission to make recovery accessible and transformative for all.
Dalton Lampro is a creative professional with a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography from UMass Dartmouth. Passionate about his community, Dalton serves as both the Creative Director and Lead Behavioral Health Technician at Greylock Recovery, where he combines his artistic skills and dedication to helping others. His work in design is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, while his role in behavioral health reflects his commitment to supporting those on the path to recovery.
A versatile musician, Dalton has a rich history in the music scene, having toured as a drummer in a hardcore band. Now, he writes and records his own music, focusing on guitar and vocals. A strong advocate for the straight edge movement, Dalton is deeply invested in promoting wellness and authenticity in both his personal and professional life.
Melissa Schnare is the Director of Case Management at Greylock Recovery, where she leads a dedicated team committed to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. With over eight years of experience in the field, Melissa’s career began in Vermont, where she started by collecting urine samples for individuals on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This initial exposure ignited her passion for helping others, and over the years, she developed a deep commitment to supporting those navigating addiction recovery. Melissa is proud to recently become a Nana and embraces the joys of family life with pride. She continues to find fulfillment in both her career and personal life, constantly inspired by the progress and resilience of the individuals she serves.
Chris A. Sharp is the Director of Training and Development and the Lab Manager at Greylock Recovery. With 20 years of sobriety, Chris is passionate about helping others find recovery and showing them that sobriety is not only possible, but life can get better. His personal journey through addiction led him to this field, and he has spent 3 years working in addiction treatment and 7 years as a non-licensed Clinical Care Medical Assistant (CCMA). During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris returned to night school, earning both his diploma and medical license—a milestone he’s incredibly proud of. Outside of his professional life, Chris is the proud owner of a pet pig named Abbey, affectionately known as Miss Piggy, who brings lightheartedness and joy to his life.
With over a decade of experience in corporate litigation, Thomas Poudrier transitioned back to his true passion—helping people. Currently completing a Substance Addiction Counselor Certificate at Quincy College in pursuit of counseling licensure, he brings a deep understanding of compliance, strategy, and client-centered care to his role. Dedicated to fostering a supportive and effective treatment environment, Thomas is committed to ensuring that policies align with both regulatory standards and the best interests of those seeking recovery. Outside of work, he enjoys running year-round, finding a special sense of calm in winter runs when the world seems to slow down for a moment.
Shatyra Grant is the Night Operations Manager and a Medical Health Technician at Greylock Recovery. With four years of experience in the addiction treatment field, Shatyra has gained valuable insights through both her professional work and her personal journey. Having faced her own battles, she understands the power of sharing her story to inspire others. Shatyra is passionate about helping individuals find hope and strength to overcome their darkest times and move toward lasting recovery.
Travis Lapine is the Recreation Program Director and a Behavioral Health Technician at Greylock Recovery, with a passion for helping others in addiction treatment. Travis stumbled into the field by chance when he took a job at a sober living home, and he quickly discovered his calling to support others on their recovery journey. Over the past 4 years, he has gained valuable experience working in a sober living PHP/IOP for 1.5 years and then in a residential addiction treatment facility for 2.5 years. Six months into his career, he was honored with the Employee of the Month award for his dedication and ability to connect with and support residents. Travis is most proud of his own sobriety, and he is deeply committed to giving back and offering the same level of support and care that helped him during his personal recovery journey.
Tim Dinofrio is the CSS Manager and a counselor at Greylock Recovery, with over 20 years of experience in addiction treatment. Tim’s personal journey through addiction and his eventual lasting recovery fueled his desire to help others facing similar struggles. Inspired by the professionals who supported him, he’s been dedicated to the field since 2003. Tim received the Falconeer Award for Social Services from Berkshire Community College, where he was also an honor student. His deep commitment to supporting others is at the heart of his work. Outside of his professional life, Tim is known for his skill in making top-class espresso, a craft he takes great pride in.
