What is the facility like?
Greylock Recovery is nestled on 14-acres of woodland in the serene landscapes of Williamstown, Massachusetts. Williamstown is like a hidden gem tucked away in the Berkshire Mountains. Imagine a picturesque town where every corner feels like a scene from a storybook. The landscape is stunning, with rolling hills and lush forests that change with the seasons—brilliant autumn foliage, serene snow-covered winters, and vibrant spring blooms.
How long do your withdrawal management and residental programs last?
At Greylock Recovery, we understand that everyone’s journey is unique, and the length of withdrawal management can vary based on individual needs. Our medical withdrawal management program typically lasts 5-9 days, ensuring you receive the care and support necessary for a safe and comfortable transition into the next phase of recovery.
Our residential program is generally 30 days, but we recognize that healing doesn’t follow a strict timeline. Your length of stay will be personalized to ensure you receive the support, stability, and tools needed for long-term success. Our team is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Is the treatment program individualized?
At Greylock Recovery, we recognize that each person’s path to healing is unique. That’s why together, we create individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, combining evidence-based therapies, counseling, and psychiatric support to foster lasting recovery. Our approach integrates a range of proven and innovative treatment modalities, including:
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – building emotional regulation and resilience
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – addressing thought patterns and behaviors
-
Family Therapy – strengthening connections and support systems
-
Expressive Therapy – using art, music, and movement for emotional healing
-
Mindfulness Practices – fostering presence and self-awareness
-
Relational Trauma Repair (RTR-Sociometrics) – addressing trauma through connection-based healing
At Greylock Recovery, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—we meet each individual where they are, ensuring they receive the right combination of care and support to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
How do I know if inpatient treatment is right for me?
At Greylock Recovery, we understand that deciding to enter residential treatment is a deeply personal choice—one that comes with questions, emotions, and uncertainty. If day-to-day life feels overwhelming, if your current environment isn’t supportive of healing, or if isolation and disconnection are making recovery harder, residential treatment can provide the stability, structure, and community you need.
Our approach is trauma-informed and rooted in harm reduction, meaning we meet you where you are—without judgment, without rigid expectations—offering personalized care designed around your unique needs. In residential treatment, you will have the opportunity to step away from external stressors and focus fully on healing, connection, and long-term recovery.
If you’re considering this step, it may help to reflect on your recovery goals—do you need deeper support, a safe space to heal, or more intensive guidance? Speaking with a therapist or trusted provider can offer further insight.
Most importantly, trust yourself. Recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about finding the right path forward, at your own pace, with the right support. And at Greylock Recovery, we’re here to walk that path with you.
What therapies and treatments are included in the program?

Can I bring my pet?
In Massachusetts, the guidelines for having a service animal are primarily governed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state laws. Under the ADA, only dogs are recognized as service animals. They must be individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals must be well-behaved on our campus. If a service animal is disruptive or poses a threat, the owner may be asked to remove it
Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered service animals under the ADA
