Family Support in Recovery: The Family Forward Program

Healing Doesn’t Have to Be Done Alone

When someone you care about is struggling with addiction, the impact ripples through the entire family. You may feel drained, angry, confused—or all of the above. At Greylock Recovery, we see you. That’s why we created the Family Forward Program—a space for families to regroup, reconnect, and start healing, together.

Whether you’re a parent running on empty, a partner stretched too thin, or a sibling hoping to rebuild a relationship—you’re not in this alone. We’re here to support you with honesty, care, and zero judgment.

What Is the Family Forward Program?

A Recovery-Focused Space Just for Families

The Family Forward Program is designed to help families who’ve been affected by a loved one’s addiction. We don’t hand out lectures. We listen, explain, and guide you through what recovery really looks like—for them, and for you.

Addiction affects the whole family. That’s why your voice, your needs, and your healing matter, too. Whether you’re unsure what to say, what to do, or how to set boundaries, we’ll help you figure out your next steps without pressure or blame.

Why Family Involvement Makes a Difference

Healing Relationships Changes Everything

Addiction strains relationships. It can break trust, wear people down, and leave lasting emotional wounds. But when families start to heal, everything changes.

When families are supported, they tend to:

  • Feel more grounded and less reactive
  • Set clearer boundaries with less guilt
  • Encourage treatment completion and long-term success

The Family Forward Program helps you build those skills—at your pace, in a safe space.

What You’ll Get from the Family Forward Program

Support That’s Practical, Flexible, and Real

We walk with you from the moment treatment begins—not just at the end. Here’s how we support families:

  • Private family therapy (in person or virtual) where you can speak honestly without judgment
  • Weekly calls or check-ins with a clinician who understands what you’re going through
  • Clear, real-world guidance on enabling, boundaries, trauma, and communication
  • Support for planning ahead—so you’re not left wondering what happens after discharge

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about getting the support you need to show up in healthy ways.

Who Is This Program For?

If You Love Someone in Treatment, This Is for You

Every family is different—and our program reflects that. Family Forward welcomes:

  • Parents (biological, adoptive, or chosen)
  • Spouses and long-term partners
  • Siblings, adult children, or extended caregivers

Even if you live far away, we’ll work with your schedule. We’ll meet you where you are, both literally and emotionally.
